Cord grips are moulded in nylon to provide a tough insulated mounting which prevents the cord from being pushed into, twisted or pulled out of the appliance to which it is fixed. The device grips firmly but does not damage the cord.

Cord grips are moulded as one unit to ease handling. No screws or clamps are required for assembly; the cord grip is simply pushed into the mounting hole.

Special pliers are available from Lamnei Plastics, and are recommended for easy assembly.
